Selfeducation helps you to deal with any random situation thats may happens in your workplace environment such as emergencies(fires, earthquakes, any terrorism situation, medical situations etc.) or other kind of emergencies. As a professional security officer you should be prepare all the time, you should know how to react and deal with unexpected situations and you have to know how to communicate with your security personnel, supervisors, managers, and with the police department of law enforcements of your area, because communication is very important in the security industry to be success and to keep your customers and your workplace safe.

I also recommend to you to go to any certified training center to get a certification in chemical tools(pepper sprite), taser, baton, hands cuff, body guard training (dignitaries protection, and general protection), I also recommend to you to go to the law enforcement department and ask for the requirement to be license as a security officer, bodyguard, to posses a weapon (armed guard), and also I recommend (its very important) to you to learn the laws of your state, country, area, knowing the laws is essential to you because it will help you how to do your professional service right, I also recommend to practice any martial arts to increace your own safety, I also recommend to you to study a bachelor degree or an associate degree in criminal justice, all those tips may be useful to all of you to be a successful professional in a security area.
